Why does it ask for location “Always”?
So a ride keeps recording when the screen turns off or you open another app. It only uses location in the background while a ride is recording.
Where are my rides stored?
On your phone. There is no account. Deleting the app deletes your rides, so share or save any videos you want to keep first.
The speed limit or traffic looks wrong.
Limits and traffic come from map providers and can be out of date. Always ride by the posted signs. Email us the road and time and we’ll look.
How do I turn the mic or camera off?
iOS Settings → Ride Copilot. The app keeps working without them.
